Job Details

We are seeking a talented SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects that involve optimizing databases and enhancing performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize complex T-SQL stored procedures and views for maximum efficiency.
  • Monitor and improve database performance through effective indexing strategies and query execution plans.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure database designs support scalable applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in production environments.
  • Document database architecture and processes while implementing optimization strategies.
  • Convert Postgres functions to Microsoft SQL Server.

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later) and Postgres.
  • Proven expertise in query tuning and execution plan analysis.
  • Strong understanding of SQL Server and Postgres internals, including transactions and locking.
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools such as SQL Profiler and DMVs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with database architecture documentation.
  • Knowledge of optimization strategies for stored procedures and views.
  • Familiarity with collaborative development practices.
