Job Overview:
Pay Range: $60.00hr - $65.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- 10+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot.
- 5+ years of experience leading teams and managing enterprise applications.
- 4+ years of experience in AWS.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 to 3 years leading an engineering team and taking accountability for technical direction.
- Track record of delivering complex, cross-functional programs in a large enterprise environment.
- Background in financial services, automotive, or a similarly regulated industry is an advantage.
- Solid experience with legacy modernization, including platform re-platforming or migration programs.
- Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban in a scaled enterprise setting.
- Working knowledge of financial services compliance requirements such as PCI DSS, SOX, and data privacy regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead an engineering team and take accountability for technical direction and output.
- Write and review production-quality backend services and code alongside the team.
- Design and build APIs, integration flows, and connectors using Mulesoft.
- Design microservices architecture that is well-bounded, independently deployable, and resilient.
- Manage cloud infrastructure through tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Own and contribute to deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Build and maintain component libraries in an enterprise application context.
- Present technical decisions clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
