Resolve complex technical issues across infrastructure, applications, and network monitoring domains
Experience:
The Network Operations Center (NOC) is staffed 7x24 and is tasked with Monitoring, Awareness and Notifications of all Technical infrastructure (Network\Wi-Fi\Compute\Application-Services) availability, events and anomalies. Consequently, the NOC requires a tool development resource to maintain, update and create tools, alerting mechanisms, dashboards and reports in support of theNOCs mission.
System administration as it relates to Tool development, configuration, customization, and training for SolarWinds (UCTeam). Primary areas of expertise included:
System administration and configuration of NPM, NTA, NCM,
IPAM to manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. in support of the technology infrastructure specific to the support role of the NOC.
Configuration Management Repository
This is an Individual Contributor role; must be fully competent to work under general direction. knowledge of business or function for which application is designed (Networks, Network Monitoring, Network Metrics, etc.). Integration with ServiceNow and other toolsets preferred.
Preferred skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise Monitoring and Observability platforms, including implementation, customization, and operational support.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Solar Winds Monitoring Solutions (required), including core components, platform architecture, alerting, reporting, and performance optimization.
