Summary

We are seeking an Azure Virtual Desktop Consultant to support a Citrix to Azure Virtual Desktop migration project. The role involves working with architects to deploy, configure, and optimize AVD environments in Azure.

Key Requirements

4+ years IT experience with 2+ years AVD or VDI (Citrix/VMware)
Strong experience with Azure Virtual Desktop deployment
Experience with Entra ID, Group Policy (GPO), Azure Networking (VNets, NSGs)
FSLogix and MSIX App Attach experience
Experience with Intune / Endpoint Manager
Automation using ARM or Bicep templates

Certification

AZ-140 (Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty) Required
AZ-104 Preferred

Responsibilities

Deploy AVD host pools, workspaces, and application groups
Build and maintain golden images
Support Citrix to AVD migration
Troubleshoot connectivity, session, and performance issues
Create documentation and provide knowledge transfer
