Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (100% On-site – 5 days/week)
Contract Duration: (6 Months)
Compensation: $56.00/hr (W2)
Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with over 8 years of experience to join our team in Sunnyvale. This role is highly focused on infrastructure reliability, automation, and performance monitoring within an AWS environment. You will be responsible for bridgeing the gap between development and operations by engineering systems that are self-healing and highly scalable.
Key Responsibilities
* System Reliability: Design and build reliable, scalable infrastructure to support mission-critical applications.
* Automation: Use Python and Bash to automate manual operational tasks and reduce toil.
* Monitoring & Observability: Implement and manage dashboards and alerts using AWS CloudWatch and Grafana.
* Incident Management: Lead on-call support rotations and proactively handle SRE duties to minimize system downtime.
* CI/CD: Design, build, and maintain robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
* Linux/AWS Admin: Troubleshoot complex Linux OS issues and manage networking protocols and AWS components.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure engineering.
* Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of AWS and Linux systems.
* Programming: Advanced proficiency in Python (Java is a plus).
* Observability: Hands-on experience with CloudWatch and Grafana.
* Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
* Verification: Must have a valid LinkedIn profile for submittal.
