THE WORK:

  • You'll provide technical and operational oversight for the deployment of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment across large-scale data center construction projects.
  • You'll apply industrial engineering principles to optimize supply chain performance, factory-to-site logistics, and technical quality assurance for mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems.
  • You'll serve as the technical representative for the OFCI delivery program, supporting complex data center deployments from manufacturing through site integration.
  • You'll review manufacturing progress against baseline schedules to ensure production efficiency, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery.
  • You'll perform periodic factory visits to validate progress and conduct Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) documentation reviews.
  • You'll lead the coordination of First-of-Kind (FOK) activities and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), ensuring equipment meets specified industrial design, engineering, and performance tolerances.
  • You'll design and implement scalable workflows and standardized playbooks for the transportation and delivery of long lead industrial equipment from manufacturer to site.
  • You'll manage visibility dashboards to track the material flow of critical assets, including generators, chillers, transformers, switchgear, and UPS systems.
  • You'll develop and oversee storage and preservation programs to ensure equipment is maintained under required environmental conditions prior to installation.
  • You'll support project cost controls and permitting processes through accurate documentation, technical verification, and compliance tracking.
  • You'll coordinate the handoff of multi-million-dollar industrial assets to general contractors and subcontractors, ensuring clear acceptance and accountability.
  • You'll optimize installation sequencing using industrial engineering methods, verifying manufacturer-specific requirements are executed correctly in the field.
  • You'll manage technical action logs for site issues, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and punch list items, driving timely resolution of engineering defects.
  • You'll coordinate supply partner involvement for Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
  • You'll synthesize commissioning scripts from multiple suppliers into a unified execution plan for the Commissioning Agent.
  • You'll ensure final digital turnover packages-including as-builts, O&M manuals, and warranty matrices-meet client operational and asset management standards.
  • You'll collaborate across multicultural and international teams to support global manufacturing coordination and complex supply chains.
  • Onsite: The work location for this role will be onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field
Professional Certification: CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or progress toward PMP is highly preferred
Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing submittals
Experience: Professional-level experience in project coordination, preferably within engineering or industrial environments Experience with CMap or similar project control systems is a plus

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

Experience in data center, mission-critical, or high-tech facility construction projects
Exposure to BIM coordination and clash detection processes
Familiarity with Lean Construction or Design Management methodologies
CAPM, PMP (in progress), or similar project management certification
Engineering and technical coordination
Design management and document control
Cross-functional communication with designers, engineers, and contractor
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, technically complex construction environment

$150,000 - $175,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, or Washington as set forth below.
