Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco and Arista networking technologies to design, implement, support, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with routing, switching, data center networking, network automation, and performance troubleshooting across large enterprise or cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco and Arista switches, routers, and network platforms

• Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 / Layer 3 routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and VRFs

• Implement data center networking solutions, including Spine-Leaf architecture and VXLAN/EVPN

• Perform network performance monitoring, capacity planning, and root-cause troubleshooting

• Configure network security components such as ACLs, segmentation, and traffic filtering

• Support high availability and redundancy designs, including HSRP, VRRP, and MLAG

• Work closely with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams for hybrid connectivity

• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards

• Participate in change management, incident response, and on-call network support

• Automate network provisioning and operational tasks using scripting (Python, Ansible, or Terraform)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista network devices

• Deep knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF

• Experience with Arista EOS and Cisco NX-OS / IOS-XE

• Knowledge of data center networking architectures (Spine-Leaf, EVPN-VXLAN)

• Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, NetFlow, SNMP)

• Familiarity with network automation and infrastructure-as-code tools

• Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise or cloud network environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco certifications (CCNP / CCIE) or Arista certifications (ACE)

• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

• Experience with SD-WAN and network segmentation technologies

• Knowledge of firewalls, load balancers, and security integrations
