Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - II for an on-site position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in Oceanside, CA. This is a 9+ month contract opportunity. Summary: This role provides frontline engineering support for commercial and clinical manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading investigations, conducting root cause analysis for process deviations, and implementing corrective actions to ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities: - Support manufacturing as frontline support for commercial and clinical manufacturing
- Provide direction and technical advice to manufacturing
- Lead Investigations/Root Cause Analysis for minor and major process and operational deviations using basic RCA tools
- Own CAPA records to drive solutions and eliminate deviations
- Own minor change controls and lead their implementation for the site
- Implement Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing as core practices
- Lead corrective actions related to manufacturing safety incidents and support the site's safety culture
- Lead projects for manufacturing while utilizing project management methodologies
- Perform evaluation studies and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment and systems
- Generate and review required engineering and manufacturing documentation
- Independently resolve manufacturing engineering issues of complex scope
- Participate on cross-functional project teams
Requirements: - Experience in a manufacturing engineering support role, preferably in a clinical or commercial setting
- Proven ability to lead Investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Knowledge of CAPA processes and change controls
- Familiarity with Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and systems
- Strong skills in generating and reviewing engineering and manufacturing documentation
Pay range: up to $51.25 per Hour
