Description: Information Security Engineering Consultant (Contingent Role)About the RoleIn this contingent assignment, you will support complex, high-impact initiatives within Information Security Engineering. You will work on large-scale, long-term security challenges that require advanced analysis, strategic thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. This role involves consulting, problem-solving, and contributing to solutions that align with organizational policies, compliance requirements, and security best practices.
Responsibilities- Consult on complex, enterprise-wide Information Security Engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
- Analyze multi-faceted and long-term security challenges, including those involving unprecedented or intangible risk factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex security issues by applying a strong understanding of security frameworks, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate strategically with client and partner teams to deliver agreed-upon outcomes.
- Support planning, testing coordination, and documentation activities related to security initiatives.
- Create and maintain clear, high-quality business and technical documentation and presentations.
Minimum Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering, or equivalent practical experience gained through consulting, training, military service, or education.
- Experience working with common productivity tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with business process documentation and professional business writing/editing.
- Familiarity with Confluence (content creation and maintenance).
- Basic working knowledge of Jira (navigation and task tracking).
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with ServiceNow (SN), including dashboard or knowledge article creation.
- Experience preparing meeting materials such as notes, presentations, attendance tracking, or voice-over content.
- Experience coordinating or supporting testing activities in a technical or security-focused environment.
