Description Robert Half is seeking an experienced Marketing and Events Coordinator for a part-time contract based opportunity in the Greater Seattle Area. The ideal candidate will bring experience in administrative support, event coordination, and bring a research and resource mindset to work.
Job Title: Marketing and Events Coordinators
Location: Remote, but must be able to go onsite in Snohomish County / Marysville as needed.
Contract Type: Contract only
Duration: 6-9 months
Start Date: Late January / early February
Pay: $30-33/hour on W2
Required Software: Microsoft Office Suite
Hours per week: 20 hours a week, could increase on weeks of events
Schedule: Flexible within business hours, set once coordinated with contractor.
Day-To-Day Tasks:
- Order materials for marketing, promotional needs, and events as required.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliverables and adherence to timelines.
- Track internal processes, including receipts and expenses.
- Monitor orders and deliveries; flag any backorders or delays for necessary pivots or troubleshooting.
- Assist with logistical planning for internal and public-facing events.
- Support translation requests through vendor coordination and established processes.
- Process requests and manage workflow tools (training provided).
- Support data entry assignments.
- Update and maintain documents.
- Provide day-of-event support and assist with onsite needs.
Requirements Required Skills:
- Experience in event coordination and/or administrative support
- Strong communication, organizational, project management, and time-management skills
- Ability to research and source materials and vendors
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage timelines and logistics
- Proficient in standard office tools (email, spreadsheets, shared drives)
- Ability to learn and adapt to new tools
