Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise network and security infrastructure.
• Manage Palo Alto/Check Point firewalls, NGFW, GlobalProtect VPN, firewall policies, NAT, access rules, and migrations.
• Design and implement network segmentation, security zones, and secure cloud/on-prem connectivity.
• Monitor network/security events, investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate remediation.
• Conduct security risk assessments and support vulnerability and incident management.
• Develop and maintain network/security policies, standards, configurations, diagrams, and technical documentation aligned with NIST.
• Support LAN/WAN, routing & switching, wireless, data center, Internet, VPN, and cloud networking.
• Monitor network performance and security metrics; develop dashboards and management reports.
• Evaluate emerging networking/security technologies and support POCs and modernization initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and advanced troubleshooting support.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, systems, database, application, telecom, and infrastructure teams.
• Provide security expertise across the complete IT project lifecycle.

Requirements:

Required Experience:

• 10+ years of IT, network engineering, and/or information security experience.
• 5+ years working with security tools and NIST-based security practices.
• Strong enterprise network architecture and security engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with NGFW, Palo Alto and/or Check Point; experience with both is highly desirable.
• Strong experience with GlobalProtect VPN or equivalent enterprise VPN technologies.
• Experience with firewall deployment, administration, policy configuration, migrations, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of network segmentation, security zones, LAN/WAN, routing & switching, wireless, data center, hybrid cloud, and cloud networking.
• Experience with network monitoring, centralized logging, packet analysis, traffic analysis, and security event investigation.
• Experience with risk assessments, vulnerability management, incident response, and remediation.
• Experience developing network/security documentation, architecture diagrams, IP/VLAN documentation, firewall rules, and security configurations.
• Experience with network diagramming/schematic tools.
• Strong understanding of security controls, access management, encryption, disaster recovery, and secure infrastructure design.
• Experience evaluating networking/security technologies and supporting POCs.
• Strong technical leadership, mentoring, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• One or more of the following certifications is required: PCNSE, CISSP, CCNP, or CCIE.

Preferred:

• Experience leading enterprise network/security projects and firewall migrations.
• Experience with large enterprise, data center, and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Experience with advanced security monitoring and packet analysis.
