HOW A TEST ENGINEER EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• As a CNO Test Engineer, you'll participate in the planning of technical approaches, and equipment required for the testing and evaluating of new systems, products and special devices. Utilizing your expert knowledge and understanding of test engineering concepts and principles, you'll prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development lifecycle.
  
  WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  Education: Bachelors of science preferable in an engineering discipline.
  Required Experience: 15+ years of related experience
  Required Technical Skills: Unix,
  Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Poly

• Required Skills:
  • Proven CNO domain experience
  • Testing of embedded software systems in one or more of the following operating system environments: Unix, Linux, VxWorks
  • Experience working within teams of engineers as both a lead and a contributor.
  • Ability to develop test procedures from requirements independently
  • Experience in the development of test documentation such as test plans, and test reports
  • Ability to work as part of a team environment
  • Working knowledge of network protocols
  • Experience with Automated Testing
  • Sript writing using Python, Bourne shell, C shell, or other proprietary scripting languages

The likely salary range for this position is $182,750 - $247,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
