Title: Cloud Solutions Architect
Location: Menands New York (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) (Need local candidates only) Duration:12 Months Contract Job Summary:
This position will support cloud support services, such as cloud integration technical assistance, cloud-based analytic and security programs, and training for Dept personnel on the use of cloud-based tools. Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system. Day to day task to be performed:
Specific duties will include: designing webservices and applications including researching and documenting technical designs, programming solutions, and customer technical support; developing unit tests and testing processes autonomously to ensure conformity of the application with business requirements and implement change management; managing the release management process, including the testing, promoting and releasing of applications through the development environment; and leading code critique sessions and overseeing the development of technical design documentation. Other related duties as assigned. The architect will also lead databas, design/development and user-interface enhancements. |
