Summary
Role: Gen AI Architect
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days office in a week)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software architecture, data architecture, machine learning, cloud engineering, or related technology roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing generative AI or large language model solutions.
- Strong understanding of:
- LLMs and foundation models
- Prompt engineering
- Retrieval-augmented generation
- Vector databases and semantic search
- AI agents and tool calling
- Model fine-tuning and evaluation
- MLOps and LLMOps
- Machine learning and data pipelines
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong programming experience in Python and familiarity with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with frameworks and technologies such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Vertex AI, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience working with relational databases, NoSQL databases, data lakes, and vector stores.
- Knowledge of AI security, data privacy, identity and access management, and enterprise governance.
- Proven experience leading architecture discussions and delivering solutions in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
