THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Project Engineer with a Secret clearance to work from our Huntsville, AL location.

As Weapon System Sustainment Data Project Lead - You will:

Function as the Sustainment Project Engineer within the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon Logistics and Sustainment IPT.

Directly support the Sustainment IPT as Project Lead for all data integration and analysis across multiple databases to provide metrics for system reliability, availability, maintenance, readiness.

Serve as engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Sustainment databases to include Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul -GOLDesp, Logistics Support Analysis-SLICWave, Repair Analysis (COMPASS) and overall team metrics for performance measurements, for the Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon System (LRHW).

Perform critical analysis of database outputs and integrate data to perform critical input for future sustainment efforts that influence system design and performance.

Interface directly with the Army customer and brief executive leadership as required. The candidate will lead existing teams to collaborate on multiple projects and influence contract deliverables with delegated authority when necessary to improve Sustainment products and metrics.

The SME will also perform integrated product support functions to include LRHW weapon system maintenance analysis, line replaceable unit reliability and sparing analysis.

This is an SR CAREER (level 5) ROLE where candidates typically require 8+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.

Basic Qualifications

8+ Years experience with database analysis, metric development, and data management
Subject Matter Expert with SAP, COMPASS, and ERP Systems (i.e. AESIP)
Experienced with modeling and integrating complex Sustainment and Logistics engineering technical data
Experience with maintenance, repair and overhaul database such as COLTS, Repair Center or GOLDesp
Experience working in a collaborative environment across multiple functions to include engineering, finance, procurement/supply chain
Must have an active Secret Clearance for consideration

Desired skills

Experienced with working US Army models to include Sparing models
Experience with Vantage Optimization Software
Experience with provisioning models and leading process improvement efforts through Lean Six Sigma Initiatives

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $141,300 - $244,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
