Summary

Snowflake Data Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Snowflake Data Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale data warehousing solutions on Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, cloud-based data platforms, and modern data engineering practices.

Mandatory Requirement:
Candidate must be an ex-IBMer or ex-Nestl professional (Should have done a recent project within 3 to 4 years in the past)

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect scalable, high-performance Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions
Develop and implement robust data models (Dimensional / Kimball methodology)
Lead data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks
Architect and optimize data integration pipelines (ETL/ELT)
Design and manage data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data platforms
Implement and manage Snowflake Streams,Tasks,Virtual Warehouses,Materialized Views,Data Sharing
Perform advanced performance tuning and cost optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scalable and secure cloud data strategies
Implement automation and DevOps best practices within the data ecosystem

Required Technical Skills

Strong experience in Data Architecture with hands-on Snowflake expertise
that includes Snowflake architecture,Storage model, Compute engine
Governance and automation capabilities
Advanced proficiency in SQL
Strong experience with Dimensional Data Modeling (Kimball methodology)
Experience with ETL/ELT tools
Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Experience using Git for version control
Strong understanding of Data pipelines,Data lakes,Enterprise data warehouse design

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in enterprise environments within global organizations
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud data solutions
