IT Project Manager – PeopleSoft

Role : IT Project Manager – PeopleSoft (Contract)

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 months to start (with potential extension)

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support PeopleSoft-related initiatives. This role will focus on managing enterprise projects including system upgrades, automation initiatives, and application implementations. The Project Manager will partner closely with technical teams, functional stakeholders, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage PeopleSoft projects from initiation through completion
• Oversee a PeopleSoft upgrade project, including planning, execution, and risk management
• Manage RPA and CAI implementation initiatives supporting automation and process improvements
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and drive resolution
• Ensure adherence to project governance and reporting standards

Required Qualifications

• Proven PeopleSoft Project Management experience
• Experience managing PeopleSoft upgrade projects
• Hands-on experience with RPA and CAI implementations
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large, complex enterprise environments
• Prior work in higher education or public-sector organizations
