Summary
As a React.js Developer within our technology organization, you will bridge the gap between sophisticated UI design and robust technical implementation. You will be responsible for developing, scaling, and maintaining high-performance web applications that power our financial services frameworks. Beyond component construction, you will design and implement automated frontend test suites to ensure UI integrity, accessibility, and seamless user experiences. You will work in a high-impact, collaborative environment where your technical expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling directly ensures the reliability of our digital platforms.

Types of Work Frontend Development & UI Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, reusable React components to build scalable and responsive web applications.
• Optimize complex frontend logic and state management to improve application performance and reliability across various browsers and devices.
• Integrate disparate APIs and backend services into a unified, high-performance UI layer for financial reporting and customer interactions.

Automated UI Validation & Scripted QA

• Build and execute automated frontend test suites using frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress to validate component functionality and UI consistency.
• Develop "UI-as-Code" testing strategies to catch regressions or interface drift before they impact the production environment.
• Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing on frontend codebases to ensure logic reflects underlying business requirements and brand standards.

Design Systems & UI Governance

• Manage component libraries and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and governed deployment of frontend assets.
• Drive adherence to web standards and accessibility principles (WCAG), including automated linting and performance auditing.
• Evaluate integration points to ensure frontend state management accurately reflects the real-time status of backend systems.

General Responsibilities

• Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in web rendering and implement React-based solutions to optimize load times and interactivity.
• Technical Partnership: Collaborate with Product Designers and Backend Engineers to translate wireframes and requirements into technical specifications for frontend workflows.
• Strategic Problem Solving: Use a quantitative mindset to solve UI/UX gaps, leveraging modern JavaScript libraries for deep-dive analysis into application anomalies.
• Communication: Clearly articulate technical risks and UI discrepancies to non-technical stakeholders to drive rapid remediation.

Basic Qualifications

• Master s Degree in a quantitative or technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
• Proven experience building and deploying production-level React.js applications in an enterprise environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and CSS/SCSS.
• Experience with modern state management libraries (Redux, Recoil, or Context API).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building automated frontend QA frameworks and unit testing patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, CloudFront) to support web application hosting and deployment.
• Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite), version control (Git), and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience handling complex data visualizations and transforming backend JSON payloads into intuitive user interfaces.
