Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile HVAC/R Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC/R Technician, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Mobile HVAC/R Technician

Location: Columbus, OH

What's the Job?

  • Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained in an energy-efficient, safe manner, minimizing downtime through proactive repairs and record-keeping.
  • Perform inspections and repairs on interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment across all HVAC and refrigeration systems, demonstrating technical expertise in these areas.
  • Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo to document work performed and update work order statuses in real-time.

What's Needed?

  • Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
  • Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and equipment maintenance.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems.
  • Valid state driver?s license and willingness to perform call-in work as required.
  • Ability to study and familiarize oneself with various equipment and operational methods.
