The Tool Repair Technician diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs power tools and related equipment. This role requires strong mechanical ability, knowledge of electrical components, and a commitment to providing quality customer service.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in power tools.
Disassemble tools, run tests, and identify faulty components.
Repair or replace defective parts and reassemble tools.
Complete repair reports and maintain service records.
Provide customer service in the shop and over the phone.
Maintain product knowledge of power tools and brands sold.
Organize and stock repair parts and inventory as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Basic understanding of electrical components.
Experience repairing power tools or similar equipment preferred.
Good communication and customer service skills.
