Summary

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is searching for a Marketing Intelligence Analyst for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Insurance services clients. This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days onsite in one of the following locations: New York, NY (Hudson Yards), Holmdel, NJ, Bethlehem, PA, Stamford, CT, Pittsfield, MA, or Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end audience list production for marketing campaigns, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across channels
  • Execute audience segmentation using defined logic, filters, exclusions, and governance rules
  • Perform data QA to validate audience quality, identify anomalies, and ensure alignment with campaign requirements
  • Maintain documentation, templates, and workflows to improve consistency and scalability in list management
  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to refine audience requirements and resolve list-related issues
  • Clean, validate, and prepare datasets for marketing performance analysis
  • Build dashboards and visualizations to track campaign performance, data quality, and operational trends
  • Support development of measurement frameworks tying marketing efforts to outcomes such as engagement, response, and lift
  • Participate in matchback analysis to validate data accuracy and measure campaign effectiveness
  • Conduct exploratory analysis to identify insights that improve targeting and campaign optimization
  • Document processes and contribute to scalable best practices across marketing analytics and operations
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 1-4 years of experience in data analysis, marketing analytics, list management, or marketing operations
  • Advanced Excel skills including formulas such as XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and nested IF statements
  • Working knowledge of SQL with the ability to query and manipulate large datasets
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Strong attention to detail with a disciplined approach to data QA and documentation
  • Ability to translate business/marketing requirements into structured analytical tasks
  • Strong communication skills to clearly present findings and insights
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis
  • Exposure to performance marketing or campaign analytics environments
  • Familiarity with audience segmentation and marketing automation platforms
  • Experience supporting matchback analysis or attribution modeling
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance within marketing datasets
