This role will focus on process optimization, labor standards, and workflow design across kitting, packaging, and order fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate will combine Lean manufacturing principles with hands-on floor analysis to reduce waste, improve throughput, and lower cost-per-unit.

This is a highly visible role partnering directly with Operations leadership to translate physical process improvements into measurable P&L impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct time-and-motion studies to establish labor standards and standardized work procedures
  • Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities across warehouse operations
  • Optimize kitting, bundling, and manual packaging workflows to remove bottlenecks
  • Redesign pack stations, pick paths, and slotting strategies to reduce travel time and operator fatigue
  • Improve line balancing, ergonomics, and component presentation across workstations
  • Map physical workflow against WMS processes to identify system-driven inefficiencies
  • Implement poka-yoke error-proofing mechanisms to reduce rework and manual intervention
  • Partner with Operations leadership to quantify improvements in labor productivity and cost-per-unit

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt minimum (Black Belt preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in process optimization or continuous improvement
  • Experience in eCommerce fulfillment, 3PL, warehouse operations, or high-volume assembly/kitting environments
  • Strong root cause analysis and workflow redesign experience
  • Comfortable working directly on the warehouse floor in a hands-on operational role
