Description: Our client is currently seeking a Data Warehousing/ETL Consultant

Key Responsibilities
  • Rewrite and refactor existing ETL/data movement logic to support new upstream data sources while preserving existing warehouse structures
  • Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and performance tuning
  • Build, modify, and maintain integrations using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) - Data Integration module
  • Develop and enhance SSIS packages and SQL Server Agent jobs using Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Analyze source-to-target mappings and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and performance
  • Collaborate closely with internal data engineers, analysts, and architects in a team-based environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ETL failures, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established development and deployment standards

Required Qualifications
  • Extensive hands-on experience developing, executing, and optimizing complex SQL queries
  • Strong, recent experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) - specifically the Data Integration module
  • Experience with Informatica PowerCenter alone will not be sufficient
  • Proven experience creating and modifying SSIS packages and jobs in Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL patterns, and relational database design
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
