Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft CRM Support Engineer with strong expertise in PeopleSoft administration and infrastructure support. The role focuses on maintaining system stability, performance, and security across PeopleSoft environments while supporting business operations and ensuring high availability.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with PeopleSoft CRM support, middleware, and system administration across Windows and Linux platforms, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and support production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Install, administer, secure, and maintain PeopleSoft application infrastructure including web servers, application servers, process schedulers, report servers, and file servers.
Manage and support environments across Windows and Linux operating systems.
Troubleshoot issues related to middleware, databases, and application components and implement solutions.
Perform system monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance.
Document architecture standards, configurations, and operational procedures.
Support disaster recovery and business continuity processes including failover testing.
Apply PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application patches, upgrades, and critical updates.
Manage and maintain components such as WebLogic, Tuxedo, and JDK or JRE.
Research and recommend improvements based on new PeopleTools releases and system enhancements.
Support 24 by 7 on call operations including evenings and weekends as required.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure smooth system operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

8+ years of experience in PeopleSoft administration and CRM support.
Experience supporting enterprise level PeopleSoft environments.
Experience working in production support and on call environments.

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in PeopleSoft CRM support and administration.
Experience with PeopleSoft infrastructure components including application servers, web servers, and process schedulers.
Experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and related middleware technologies.
Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of PeopleTools upgrades, patches, and system maintenance.
Understanding of database environments and system architecture.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work in high pressure environments and manage critical incidents.
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance standards.
Experience supporting large scale enterprise applications and infrastructure.
