Sr Network Engineer

Title: Senior Network Engineer - 28587
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite 5 Days/Week)
Duration: Long Term Contract

Client: Client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support its Santa Clara campus network environment. This role will replace a long-tenured engineer and requires a hands-on network professional capable of supporting enterprise campus infrastructure, wireless environments, and day-to-day operational activities. Responsibilities

Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for enterprise network environments Support campus routing and switching infrastructure Troubleshoot user connectivity issues and network performance problems Support Cisco wireless environments and resolve wireless-related incidents Assist with network upgrades, installations, and maintenance activities Partner with global network engineering teams on initiatives and escalations Analyze network performance and recommend improvements Support production and office network environments Required Qualifications
7+ years of network engineering experience
Strong Cisco routing and switching expertise Experience supporting enterprise campus networks Hands-on Cisco wireless troubleshooting experience Experience with network monitoring and operational support Strong troubleshooting skills across LAN/WAN environments Excellent communication and customer-facing skills Preferred Qualifications Cisco DNAC (DNA Center) experience Cisco ISE knowledge Palo Alto firewall experience Experience supporting semiconductor or manufacturing environments Cisco certifications (CCNP preferred)
