Summary
We are seeking a Network Engineer specializing in Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) to lead the transition from legacy VPNs to a modern Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) framework. This is a hands-on technical role focused on secure application delivery and network modernization.
Key Responsibilities
- ZPA Architecture: Design and maintain Zscaler Private Access connectivity, including App Connectors, Server Groups, and Application Segments.
- Policy Management: Configure and enforce least-privileged access policies to ensure secure, auditable application paths.
- Legacy Migration: Analyze existing VPN-based connectivity and translate requirements into scalable, policy-driven ZTNA models.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve complex issues related to user access failures, application reachability, and connector routing.
- Documentation: Create high-quality technical runbooks, network diagrams, and configuration standards.
Required Technical Skills
- Core Networking (8+ Years): Advanced expertise in Routing, Firewalling, DNS, and Traffic Flow Analysis.
- Zscaler Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience implementing Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) or similar Zero Trust platforms.
- Zero Trust Principles: Deep understanding of application-level segmentation and secure access modeling.
- Compliance: Experience working in regulated environments (familiarity with NIST 800-53 or CJIS is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: Zscaler Digital Transformation Administrator/Engineer, CCNP, Security+, or CySA+.
- Enterprise Scale: Experience supporting large-scale, multi-entity network environments.
