- SAP IBP Supply Planning & Time-Series Optimization (Must-Have)
Time-Series Supply Optimizer Configuration and Testing: Extensive hands-on experience setting up and tuning the IBP Time-Series LP/MILP Supply Optimizer. Proven capability in configuring penalty costs, non-delivery/violation costs, quota/priority handling, and capacity-constrained planning across production, transport, and inventory.
Subnetwork Decoupling & Boundary Management: Expertise in structuring multi-echelon supply networks using subnetwork IDs, and receipt cost rates to balance upstream manufacturing plants with downstream distribution hubs.
Master Data & Key Figure Architecture: Deep knowledge of time-series supply master data attributes (sources of supply, production source items, capacity supply/usage, transportation lanes, lead times) and planning levels.
- S/4HANA MRP & Supply Chain Integration (Must-Have)
MRP Live / Classic MRP: Strong understanding of S/4HANA material requirements planning execution (MRP Live via HANA / MD01N), lot-sizing procedures, MRP controllers, special procurement keys (STOs/intercompany), and safety stock methods.
Integration Scenarios: Hands-on experience integrating SAP IBP with S/4HANA via Cloud Integration (CI-DS) and Real-Time Integration (RTI), ensuring proper synchronization of planned orders, purchase requisitions, production orders, and stock transport requisitions.
- Embedded PP/DS & Detailed Scheduling Heuristics (Must-Have)
Production Scheduling Heuristics: In-depth configuration of standard and custom PP/DS heuristics (e.g., SAP_PP_002 Planning of Standard Lots, SAP_PP_003 Planning of Shortage Quantities, SAP_DS_01 Stable Forward Scheduling, sequence-dependent setup matrix scheduling).
Detailed Scheduling Board & Campaign Optimization: Hands-on setup of the DS Planning Board, Resource Gantt charts, setup matrices, finite capacity scheduling, and setup minimization for continuous or semi-continuous manufacturing lines.
PDS & Resource Modeling: Expert in Production Data Structure (PDS) transfer and maintenance, single/multi-activity resources, capacity variants, and break schedules.
- Cross-Functional Integration & Delivery (Nice-to-Have / General)
Manufacturing (PP) & Order-to-Cash (SD/ATP): Solid grasp of execution touchpoints—production order confirmation, shop-floor staging, backorder processing (BOP/aATP), and interplant Stock Transfer Orders (STOs).
Hands-on Delivery & Cutover: Ability to lead Build, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover sequencing, and defect resolution without hand-holding
