Required skills

Strong command of Appian platform essentials and broader platform capabilities.
Business process modeling, orchestration, and optimization expertise (BPM methods and techniques).
Ability to build process models/workflows, dynamic UIs, and complex rules in Appian.
Strong integration experience with web services and databases; ability to design resilient integration patterns.
Ability to define architecture for BPM/automation solutions and document it clearly.
Demonstrated ability to hold the big picture architecture while unblocking near-term delivery.
Outstanding analytical skills; strong technical troubleshooting and root-cause problem solving.
Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively and work in a dynamic matrix team environment across business and technology stakeholders

Qualifications / experience

Appian Certified Lead Developer (required); Appian Certified Senior Developer (preferred if applicable).
3 4+ years of technical experience delivering solutions on Appian.
3+ years of broader software delivery/software development experience.
1.5 2+ years in an architecture role (solution architecture on large/complex initiatives).
Experience leading Appian development teams and guiding delivery across configuration, deployment, and testing for enterprise applications.
