Sr Full Stack Node.js developer

Duration: 12 months Contract

Job Description:

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer with deep expertise in modern web technologies and cloud-native architectures.
• The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Node.js, React.js, and AWS, along with a solid foundation in scalable system design and database architecture.
• You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a product-driven, agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance full-stack applications using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React.js.
• Develop robust backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs for high scalability and performance.
• Work with cloud-native services, primarily on AWS (Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, Kafka).
• Design and optimize relational databases, primarily using PostgreSQL.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Implement unit and integration tests using tools like Jest and React Testing Library.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Experience:

• 10+ years of overall software development experience.
• 10+ years of experience in JavaScript development.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
• 5+ years of experience with React.js.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• 4+ years of experience with AWS cloud services.
• 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development practices.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs in a cloud environment.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design.

Skills:

• Hands-on experience with:

• AWS Lambda (serverless architecture)
• S3 (storage)
• SQS/SNS (messaging)
• Step Functions (workflow orchestration)
• Kafka (event streaming)

• Experience building distributed and scalable systems.
• Experience working in product-based companies.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.

Education:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
