Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with a strong background in Data Modeling and Data Engineering. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in data architecture, data management, and business intelligence data warehousing (BIDW). This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze complex data requirements and design effective data models to support business objectives. The Senior Consultant will work closely with clients to deliver innovative solutions that enhance data utilization and drive business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data needs and translate them into effective data models.
  • Design, develop, and implement data models that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
  • Utilize Entity-Relationship (ER) and Data Modeling (DM) techniques to create comprehensive data structures.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and consistency across various platforms.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for data management and engineering processes.
  • Assist in the development of data governance frameworks to ensure compliance and data quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to data modeling and engineering.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong expertise in Data Modeling and Data Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Entity-Relationship (ER) modeling and Data Modeling (DM) techniques.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence Data Warehousing (BIDW) concepts and practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions and platforms.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in data modeling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Data Modeling, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence are a plus.
  • Proven track record of successful data modeling and engineering projects.
