Scrum Master with Network Infrastructure Experience
Lower Manhattan, New York, NY (hybrid, onsite 3 days per week)

We're seeking a Scrum Master to help our network and infrastructure teams deliver with agility, clarity, and accountability. You'll facilitate Scrum practices, manage dependencies across teams, and communicate progress and risk to senior stakeholders. A strong networking background will help you work credibly with engineers and anticipate the technical dependencies that shape delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum events, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, adapting them to infrastructure and hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments
- Identify and remove impediments, and distinguish critical path items from those that are not
- Partner with the Product Owner to maintain a clear, prioritized backlog
- Track and report on team metrics, schedule, and risks, escalating appropriately when impact warrants
- Foster collaboration across network, security, data center, and application teams
- Promote continuous improvement and healthy team dynamics
- Maintain Agile tooling and documentation (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead
- Solid understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks, with exposure to Waterfall
- Working knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., routing and switching, DNS/DHCP, IP, MPLS, firewalls, VPNs)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to be clear and concise with both technical and executive audiences
- Sound judgment and comfort making decisions, managing risk, and holding people accountable
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
- Ability to work onsite in our Lower Manhattan office 3 days per week
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in banking or financial services
- Background in a network engineering or infrastructure role
- Familiarity with data center technologies, cybersecurity (e.g., perimeter security, load balancing, segmentation), SD-WAN, or network monitoring tools
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with change management or ITIL processes
- Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe)
