Position: Salesforce Developer
Location: Plano, TX

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer with strong hands-on experience in developing and customizing Salesforce solutions. The candidate will work on a highly customized Salesforce environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications.

This is a remote position working in Eastern Time, with a year-long contract and a high possibility of extension. The team is growing rapidly and the interview process typically consists of two to three rounds.

Required Certifications (Mandatory):

• Salesforce Certified Administrator

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer

Candidates must have held these certifications for at least 4 years of their professional experience. Certification numbers must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools.

• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements.

• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.

• Customize and configure Salesforce features including workflows, process builder, and validation rules.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and support Salesforce solution architecture.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce customizations, integrations, and configurations.

• Stay updated with Salesforce platform updates and new features.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Salesforce development tools and technologies including:

  • Apex

  • Visualforce

  • Lightning Web Components

  • Salesforce DX

  • Salesforce APIs

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model and security model.

• Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as AngularJS or React.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Salesforce certifications such as:

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

• Experience delivering complex Salesforce solutions.

• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and version control systems such as Git.
