We are currently seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to support high-visibility initiatives within the federal space. This role will play a key part in advancing the adoption of emerging technologies and driving enterprise-level innovation.
Role Overview
As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for exploring and implementing new technologies through prototyping and proof-of-concept development. You will evaluate potential solutions, clearly communicate trade-offs, and help guide adoption across teams. In addition, you will provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate emerging technologies through hands-on prototyping and proof-of-concept development
Assess and communicate the advantages, limitations, and risks of new technical solutions
Contribute across development, operations, and security within cloud-based environments
Lead efforts to integrate and scale new technologies across the organization
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field
6-10 years of relevant professional experience
Minimum of 3 years deploying production applications in AWS environments
At least 3 years working with AI/ML components in production systems
Strong programming experience with Python
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
Familiarity with ML platforms and tools (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, Hugging Face, Weights & Biases)
Experience with data analysis and manipulation using pandas
Ability to visualize and communicate experimental results (e.g., matplotlib)
Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving projects
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including client-facing experience
U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Prior experience managing or leading technical teams
