Summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician in the posting location below. In this role you will be responsible for both site-local, and remote troubleshooting and support of laptops, peripherals, and applications in dynamic and fast-growing department. As a Helpdesk Technician you are the face of our IT department. Come join our technology savvy team, where we focus on employee development and enjoy promoting from within.

Posting Location: Peoria, IL

What You'll Do:
  • Image and deploy laptops utilizing SCCM and InTune
  • Provide desktop support in a Microsoft Windows/365 environment
  • Resolve submitted helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
  • Assist staff with day-to-day IT issues
  • Equipment set-up and deployment
  • Assist with various IT projects as assigned

What You'll Need:
  • Associate's degree in IT, CS, or related field, OR equivalent hands-on experience
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Strong customer service orientation and written/verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license (occasional multi-office support)

Nice To Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent hands-on experience
  • 1+ year of helpdesk or desktop support experience
  • CompTIA A+ or ITIL certification
  • Experience supporting a multi-site corporate environment
  • Exposure to ITSM/ticketing platforms

Salary Range: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
