Farnsworth Group is seeking an
IT Help Desk Technician in the posting location below. In this role you will be responsible for both site-local, and remote troubleshooting and support of laptops, peripherals, and applications in dynamic and fast-growing department. Posting Location: Peoria, IL
What You'll Do: - Image and deploy laptops utilizing SCCM and InTune
- Provide desktop support in a Microsoft Windows/365 environment
- Resolve submitted helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
- Assist staff with day-to-day IT issues
- Equipment set-up and deployment
- Assist with various IT projects as assigned
What You'll Need: - Associate's degree in IT, CS, or related field, OR equivalent hands-on experience
- Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
- Strong customer service orientation and written/verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license (occasional multi-office support)
Nice To Haves: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent hands-on experience
- 1+ year of helpdesk or desktop support experience
- CompTIA A+ or ITIL certification
- Experience supporting a multi-site corporate environment
- Exposure to ITSM/ticketing platforms

Salary Range: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
