Salesforce Practice Leader / Salesforce Practice Director
Fulltime | Santa Clara, CA / Plano, TX
The primary measurement of success for this role will be the expansion of our Salesforce practice revenues. The practice scope includes the full suite of Salesforce cloud offerings — including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Industry Clouds, MuleSoft, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Net Zero Cloud. The company offers Salesforce consulting services along with AppExchange applications, including Warranty Management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to sell new consulting business in partnership with sales teams across multiple industry verticals.
- Coordinate with the Delivery organization during the sales cycle to ensure alignment as new engagements are signed.
- Develop innovative strategies to:
- Create differentiated offerings aligned with Salesforce’s strategic direction
- Grow consulting services revenue
- Expand business with existing customers while acquiring new customers across the U.S. and international markets
- Create, promote, and drive sales of new go-to-market offerings related to Salesforce solutions.
- Manage and mentor the Salesforce Alliance Director while strengthening relationships within Salesforce to increase visibility and credibility across the ecosystem.
- Build relationships with Salesforce industry teams aligned to key verticals including Manufacturing, Financial Services, Media, Retail, and Automotive.
- Partner with the Marketing team to execute campaigns focused on brand awareness, pipeline generation, and lead development.
- Provide regular leadership reporting on revenue growth, strategic initiatives, forecasts, and performance against targets.
- Coordinate with the Salesforce Delivery Team and People Management Group regarding recruitment, onboarding, retention, and growth of Salesforce practice resources.
- Support practice development initiatives including solution accelerators, partnerships, delivery excellence, and capability expansion.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of professional experience with at least 5+ years in a Salesforce practice leadership or consulting leadership role with demonstrated practice growth success.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong exposure and familiarity with Salesforce platforms supported by relevant Salesforce certifications and hands-on experience.
- Experience working within the Salesforce Partner/Consulting ecosystem.
- Proven ability to lead global teams and collaborate across North America, India, Europe, Mexico, and other regions.
- Willingness to travel to customer, prospect, and company locations, including occasional international travel.
- Strong client-facing, business development, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within targeted industries such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Media, Retail, or Automotive.
- Experience with Salesforce Industry Clouds including:
- Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
- Manufacturing Cloud
- Automotive Cloud
- Media Cloud
- Experience managing alliances, GTM strategy, and consulting practice P&L growth.
- Prior experience scaling offshore/onshore Salesforce delivery organizations.
