Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior Business Systems Analyst to lead complex financial systems initiatives from requirements through post-implementation. This role partners closely with business and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions supporting trading and collateral operations, with a strong focus on system configuration, testing, and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex system implementations and enhancements, including requirements analysis, functional specifications, testing, and post-implementation support
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define user experience, workflows, and functional requirements
  • Prepare and execute detailed test plans and test scripts; coordinate testing across multiple applications
  • Serve as functional lead and subject-matter expert for enterprise initiatives, system conversions, and integrations
  • Facilitate project meetings, manage timelines and scope, and ensure milestones and regulatory requirements are met
  • Support data mapping activities for system integrations and acquisitions
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices across project methodology and testing
  • Identify risks, escalate issues, and ensure adherence to corporate technology standards

Top Skills Required

  • Finance Experience: Fixed Income, Collateral, or related capital markets domain knowledge
  • SDLC Expertise: Proven experience with software transformations or implementations, including configuration, requirements analysis, and testing

Nice to Have

  • Experience acting as Test Coordinator on large, multi-application initiatives
  • Agile/Scrum environment experience
  • Proven mentoring or team leadership experience

Qualifications

  • 8+ years combined experience in business systems analysis, technology, finance, or related disciplines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams across complex projects
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

*Candidates must work on a W2 basis. Corp to Corp, 1099 and candidates on sponsored Visas cannot be considered for this role with this customer. Candidates must work onsite in Buffalo, NY.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.06 - $71.76/hr.
