Position Title: Technology Transformation Experience Engineer (DevEx & AI Enablement)

Pay Rate: W2 (PTA/PTO) $68 $70/hr
Position Description:
Seeking a senior Technology Transformation Experience Engineer to drive Developer Experience (DevEx) and AI-enabled SDLC transformation initiatives. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on modernizing high-code and low-code development workflows, reducing cognitive load for engineers, and improving delivery efficiency. You will partner with engineering leadership, product, and platform teams to design, pilot, and scale enterprise DevEx and AI-enabled solutions from onboarding through deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and engineering workflows; identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Lead end-to-end solution design, development, and deployment
- Own DevEx and AI-SDLC roadmap; communicate progress via demos and stakeholder forums
- Produce executive status reporting aligned to roadmap and outcomes
- Enhance and scale production systems; guide operational improvements
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices
- Drive adoption through documentation, training, demos, and communication
- Pilot and test new DevEx and AI features prior to release
- Measure impact using delivery metrics (DORA, SPACE) and quantify ROI
- Gather feedback and assess developer satisfaction
Required Skills/Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Physics, or related field
- 5 10 years of experience delivering complex, technology-driven solutions
- Proven ownership of end-to-end software initiatives
- Strong project and roadmap management skills
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, OpenAI APIs)
- Strong understanding of SDLC productivity metrics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enterprise or multi-team developer enablement experience
- Cross-functional transformation leadership
- Observability, monitoring, and logging integration experience
- Knowledge of system design, security, and performance optimization
- Agile (Scrum/Kanban) experience
