Description

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, has immediate openings for qualified individuals who have a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work.

The Generator Division is seeking an Engineer in Training to support generator repair activities and assist with engineering-related work in both shop and field environments. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals while supporting CAD and reverse engineering efforts, engineering documentation, procedure development, technical troubleshooting, and special projects within the St. Louis Generator business.

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:
Support generator repair activities and related engineering work.
Assist with CAD work, including reverse engineering efforts.
Support development and maintenance of engineering documentation.
Assist with procedure development and updates.
Provide support for special projects within the St. Louis Generator business.
Assist with troubleshooting technical issues in both shop and on-site environments.
Support technical documentation and reporting as needed.
Collaborate with Generator Specialists and other team members to support ongoing work and continuous improvement efforts.

Assist with technical communications related to generator projects and issues.

Requirements
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organization and prioritization skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience with Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.

Ability to travel during peak periods.

Available to work the operational hours of the position, including weekends and holidays, and to work extended hours and overtime as needed based on business demands.
