Summary
The Materials Manager III oversees all materials management activities for major projects, from pre-planning and constructability through project execution, mobilization, and demobilization. This role develops and manages the Project Materials Plan, coordinating procurement, expediting, logistics, inventory, data management, and material distribution across project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. The position also leads field materials personnel, manages inbound and outbound logistics, supports Advanced Work Packaging, oversees materials systems and documentation, tracks equipment maintenance, monitors project metrics, and coordinates surplus materials disposal.
Job Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 5+ years of large/mega industrial construction in Materials Management
- Must have experience managing large teams and coordinating efforts between multiple construction teams, such as project controls, administration, and construction
- Prefer experience in multiple industrial market sectors.
- Prefer experience in material work packaging and detailed work planning.
- Prefer experience in managing multiple material managers and large teams
- Experience in work package planning/bill of material development
- Understanding of technical documents and drawings related to industrial construction materials and equipment
- Oracle Procurement/Inventory Experience desirable
