Role: SAP IBP Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 - 12 months contract
 
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP IBP Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in supply chain planning processes, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, and Inventory Optimization, along with proven experience leading client-facing workshops and end-to-end SAP IBP implementations.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with supply chain and business stakeholders.
  • Design and implement SAP IBP solutions for Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, Inventory Optimization, and Control Tower.
  • Define planning models, key figures, master data structures, and planning processes.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable SAP IBP solutions.
  • Support SAP IBP integration with SAP S/4HANA and related enterprise systems.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, go-live, and post-production support activities.
  • Provide solution guidance and best practices to business stakeholders and project teams.
  • Support business transformation and supply chain optimization initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP IBP.
  • Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP IBP implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Demand Planning
    • Supply Planning
    • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
    • Inventory Optimization
    • Control Tower
  • Experience designing Planning Areas, Key Figures, Attributes, and Master Data.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes.
  • Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading workshops, requirements gathering, UAT, and go-live activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP IBP certification.
  • Experience in Solution Architecture or Lead Consultant roles.
  • Exposure to advanced forecasting, Machine Learning, or AI-enabled planning capabilities.
  • Experience working in large enterprise SAP transformation programs.
