What We're Doing
Our Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team, is engineering, developing and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System that currently protects the United States and its allies. The team consists of many small agile teams that work together in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our team is also, responsible for tasks such as Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security and enhancing other critical, leading-edge missile defense technologies.

Who You Are
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to join our team. The successful candidate will need to utilize good communication skills and good organizational skills to facilitate collaboration across the many organizations necessary to accomplish challenging missions.

The Work
In this role you will oversee the full lifecycle of test event data-collecting, processing, delivering, and ensuring the integrity of data from a variety of MDS ground and flight tests, as well as international events. Key responsibilities include handling real-world event (RWE) data requests, providing analysts with accurate "truth" data, managing server and NAS storage, archiving data in accordance with System Test processes, and generating status reports on data processing and delivery. You will coordinate closely with FFRDC and contractor analysts, Execution Leads, System Integrators, program leadership, and Government customers to support mission-critical testing activities. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in data management within complex test environments.

Please Note:
This position is located at Schriever, Space Force Base 10 miles east of Colorado Springs, CO and is 100% onsite.
Non-standard work hours may be required on occasion, depending on test schedules

Basic Qualifications

Active Final SECRET clearance required prior to starting
DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification (e.g. Sec+) is required
Experience as a data manager or Linux systems administrator
Strong Linux and Windows Server system administration skills
Prior experience with Shell scripting, cron jobs, or other automation tools like ansible
Basic coding skills to develop scripts to assist in automating data collection and management activities
Basic troubleshooting skills and an ability to understand the software components running in a widely distributed, virtual environment

Desired skills

Prior experience with an object oriented language such as Python or Java
Prior integration and test experience within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program
Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks
Self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with the government customer as well as personnel internal and external to the program

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
