Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst III in Jacksonville, FL.

Summary:
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst III is responsible for supporting software testing efforts in partnership with development teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership. In this role, you will create, document, and execute test plans and test cases; Identify, track, and validate defects; And collaborate with a broader QA team to ensure high-quality software delivery. This position will support a large-scale business systems transformation initiative.

Duties:
* Estimate testing efforts for projects of varying size and complexity
* Review business requirements, technical designs, and system architecture to identify gaps, risks, and testing scenarios
* Design and execute test cases using established testing methodologies and best practices
* Create, maintain, and review test plans, test cases, test metrics, and related documentation
* Investigate, document, and track software defects through resolution
* Adapt testing strategies based on evolving business and technical requirements
* Perform functional, integration, and regression testing
* Execute test activities and communicate testing results for assigned areas
* Partner with automation teams to identify and resolve issues related to automated testing efforts
* Recommend and implement improvements to QA processes, standards, and methodologies
* Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on complex initiatives
* Serve as a subject matter expert for critical business applications
* Assist team leadership with project planning and testing coordination
* Support the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of QA tools and technologies

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
* Five or more years of software testing experience, including development and execution of test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for enterprise applications

Preferred:
* Five or more years of experience testing complex business applications in a large-scale enterprise environment
* At least one year of experience testing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP applications
* Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or digital transformation initiatives
* Experience validating data across relational databases
* Experience using test management and defect tracking tools
* Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, deliverables, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
* Understanding of object-oriented programming languages such as Java or C++
* Familiarity with automated functional and/or performance testing tools
* Knowledge of test automation concepts and scripting
* Advanced SQL skills with the ability to create, modify, and execute complex queries for backend testing and data validation
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, designs, and architecture artifacts
* Ability to build effective working relationships across cross-functional teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
