Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Location: Warrenville Illinois 60555

What You’ll Do

Bring new systems to life by installing fresh software releases, performing upgrades, rolling out patches, and troubleshooting complex software challenges.

Protect mission?critical data through routine backups, recovery operations, and vigilant file maintenance.
Keep an expert eye on system configurations to ensure absolute data integrity.
Work across diverse tasks and projects, using your technical insight and creativity to reach success with minimal supervision.
Collaborate with project leaders/managers while juggling a variety of responsibilities that make each day different from the last.

Where You''ll Make an Impact

This position places you at the core of a secure, regulated nuclear facility. You’ll support testing and documentation for SIEM hardware, network infrastructure, and specialized software systems making your work essential to safety and compliance.

What You Bring

5–6 years of hands-on experience in systems engineering or a related field.
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (preferred).
Experience with system deployments, virtualization technologies, and Windows Server environments.
Strong networking skills: IP setup, firewall configuration, disaster recovery processes, and recovery procedures.
Solid understanding of routers and switches.

Bonus points for:
- VMware experience
- Splunk proficiency
- CCNA or CCIA certifications
- Prior Glider assessment submission

Special Requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain Critical Group access at a nuclear site (includes passing background and drug screening).
Adaptability, curiosity, and a mindset that blends technical precision with creative problem-solving.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $48.00 - $51.86 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
