Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – Data Engineering & Business Intelligence

About the Role
Talent Groups is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a global Data Engineering and Business Intelligence team. This role is ideal for a highly technical BA with strong experience in cloud data migrations, data integration, and BI initiatives.
The successful candidate will partner with engineering teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, drive solution design, support testing, and ensure successful delivery of enterprise data solutions. We are seeking someone who can make an immediate impact and lead complex data migration projects from planning through implementation.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead data migration initiatives across cloud platforms including Databricks and Snowflake.
• Manage data product backlogs, roadmaps, and end to end delivery.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Create business requirement documents, user stories, and source to target mappings.
• Support data integration, testing, validation, and solution deployment activities.
• Develop mockups and prototypes to visualize solutions.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define priorities, manage expectations, and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Support Agile delivery processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience focused on Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Analytics.
• Proven experience leading cloud data migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, cloud data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and modern cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI reporting tools.
• Strong background in business requirements gathering, source to target mapping, and data integration projects.
• Experience with ETL processes and enterprise data environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments and managing multiple priorities.
Education
• Bachelor''''s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Preferred Experience
• Experience supporting large scale data transformation initiatives.
• Background working with enterprise Business Intelligence and Data Engineering teams.
• Success delivering data products and analytics solutions in cloud environments.
