The client is seeking a Lead System Analyst, an experienced and mature professional who can lead a team of system analysts and drive technical discussions, decisions, and the overall implementation roadmap. This individual will act as a technical leader and a key point of coordination across multiple technology teams.

The role requires close collaboration with various technology teams to understand what is needed when changes or enhancements are made to existing implementations or when new software is being built. This includes evaluating new or modified data feeds, new system integrations, database restructuring, and other backend changes, and ensuring that backend solutions are adjusted accordingly.

The Lead System Analyst will be extensively involved in documenting new enhancements or required changes in the form of very clear and detailed user stories. This role demands an in-depth understanding of system requirements, dependencies, and impacts. The individual will drive the team toward the end goal, lead discussions around multiple solution options, and make informed decisions on the best path forward.

Although this role does not require hands-on coding, it does require strong technical understanding. The candidate should have solid knowledge of cloud-based architectures, APIs, databases with Oracle being preferred, Kafka, data feeds, and backend system design.

Experience in the banking industry is essential, and prior knowledge of the payments domain is a strong advantage.
