About the Shop
The company is seeking experienced Fleet Diesel Technicians in Fort Lauderdale, FL and Tampa, FL, offering $30?$45/hour with hourly or commission compensation options. This Monday?Friday position has no weekends and provides consistent year-round fleet workflow. Technicians work on fleet maintenance and diesel repair in an operation servicing approximately 100 vehicles weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diesel inspections and preventive maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical and drivability concerns
- Complete fleet maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel systems
- Complete accurate, quality repairs efficiently
- Maintain productivity and quality standards
- Document findings and repair needs
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional technician experience
- Diesel diagnostic and repair experience
- Ability to complete repairs independently
- Strong work ethic and team-focused approach
- Fleet maintenance experience preferred
- Freightliner, Peterbilt, or heavy-duty truck experience preferred
- Strong B-Level and A-Level Technicians encouraged to apply
