The Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer is responsible for supporting, engineering, and maintaining enterprise-level credential vault and identity access solutions. This role requires strong hands-on experience with CyberArk, PAM services, and privileged identity management technologies. The engineer will act as a subject matter expert, working independently while collaborating with cross-functional IT teams to ensure secure access to systems, data, and assets.
Key Responsibilities- Install, update, maintain, monitor, and test enterprise systems and applications.
- Support areas including server backup, vulnerability management, change/problem management, and asset management.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to service requests and operational support issues.
- Recommend system and application improvements to enhance security, access control, and efficiency.
- Leverage a wide range of security technologies, including:
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Logical access controls
- Active Directory, LDAP, and directory services
- Security incident response
- Database and system monitoring
- End-user password management
- Single sign-on (SSO) systems
- Troubleshoot encryption technologies (SSL/TLS), web traffic, and packet-level issues.
- Develop, maintain, and implement standard operating procedures and security guidelines.
- Review existing processes to identify and implement operational and information security improvements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for privileged identity management services and technologies.
- Partner with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve incidents and implement solutions.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new hardware and software solutions.
- Create and maintain application and system documentation, including processes, procedures, and system flow diagrams.
- Participate in enterprise-wide projects, initiatives, and workgroups.
- Perform procurement-related activities as needed.
Required Qualifications- Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise-level credential vault systems.
- Extensive engineering experience with CyberArk.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Privileged access services
- Associate's degree in Information Technology or a closely related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Intermediate understanding of enterprise credential vault applications.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision.
- Experience consulting with management or Sr. technical staff on technical decisions.
Nice-to-Have / Secondary Skills- Experience working on an enterprise vault system support team.
- Exposure to procurement processes.
- Experience in large-scale or regulated enterprise environments.
On-Call Requirements- On-call support required on a rotating basis (1 week out of every 7 weeks).
- On-call rotation may require work outside of standard business hours.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr.
