We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Plant Manager to join our thriving Engineering firm. The successful candidate will be a strategic individual with 5+ years in a leadership role in plant operations, preferably within the Engineering industry. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficient production, and promoting a culture of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

As the Plant Manager, you will be tasked with the following duties:

1. Oversee daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficiency and safety at all times.
2. Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in all aspects of plant operations to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
3. Develop and manage the plant's annual budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
4. Responsible for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the plant, identifying areas of improvement to increase the plant's financial performance.
5. Utilize SAP for various plant operations, including inventory management, production planning, and financial reporting.
6. Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in plant operations.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
8. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and innovation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant management role, preferably within the Engineering industry.
3. Proven experience implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in a plant environment.
4. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and P&L management.
5. Proficiency in SAP or a similar ERP system.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
