We are hiring a Software Engineer (Python/Django/WMS) in Dallas, TX on a hybrid basis!
Responsibilities- Design, build, and deploy applications using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Lead projects from requirements gathering through production support.
- Build and maintain integrations with EDI, ERP, Shopify, carriers, iPaaS platforms, and other business systems.
- Develop scalable APIs, event-driven services, and asynchronous processing workflows.
- Partner with Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to solve complex business challenges.
- Improve system reliability, deployment automation, monitoring, and CI/CD processes.
- Drive technical decisions that improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
Required Qualifications- Strong expertise in Python, Django, and DRF.
- Proven experience with systems integrations (EDI, ERP, Shopify, carrier/postage, iPaaS, etc.).
- Experience building REST APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong PostgreSQL and AWS experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with WMS, OMS, TMS, LMS, fulfillment, or 3PL environments.
- Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce, or NetSuite.
- EDI transaction processing experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability tools, and modern cloud platforms.
- React experience is a plus.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $70.00/hr.
