Job Description:
The contractor shall provide a procurement manager to perform tasks to include, but not limited to:
• Work with the Government contract program manager to manage the ongoing validation of new and renewing software requirements;
• Conduct market research for each software license purchase and renewal;
• Maintain vendor relationships and act as a liaison between vendors and the Government;
• Purchase software from pre-approved government sources where possible and negotiate prices and terms to provide best value to the government;
• Provide software market research reports and purchasing documents as required by Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items;
• Provide license management including annual renewal reporting.
• Utilize technologies to track and manage all of the software licenses and usage within Kessel Run;
Utilize technologies to track availability and downtime of software applications to increase time efficiency and fix issues;
• Utilize technologies to track and report lead time of all Kessel Run support software;

The Procurement Manager must have knowledge of technologies to track and manage software licenses. The individual shall ensure proper license management tracking and develop annual renewal reporting for the Government. The individual shall provide leadership in the use of systems to support the efficient use of technology that contributes to performance Kessel Run product teams.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
a. 3+ years demonstrated procurement experience
b. 1+ years'''''''''''''''' experience negotiating agreements/contracts with vendors
c. Knowledge of development and business software categories
d. Strong analytical skills with ability to manage multiple detailed projects
e. Skilled in building relationships with key stakeholders to gather category requirements
